Rock wool board for internal insulation
Unlike standard rock wool façade insulation boards, the HECK Comfortrock ID rock wool internal insulation board is not water-repellent and can therefore be used indoors. The insulation board is highly vapour-permeable, non-combustible (A1 according to EN 13501-1) and, with a design thermal conductivity value of 0.035 W/mK, significantly more efficient than comparable internal insulation boards.
Thanks to its simple installation, it is ideal for renovation and refurbishment projects. The board, which is laminated with non-woven fabric on both sides, can be installed without a primer. It can be cut to size using a craft knife, making it very easy to shape even intricate details. Installation in curved areas, etc., is possible. WUFI data for hygrothermal simulations is available.

Gesundheit und Ökologie
Rock wool used as internal insulation is harmless to health and environmentally sustainable. It is made from virtually unlimited quantities of volcanic rock, such as basalt. Modern rock wool is biodegradable and meets all statutory safety requirements. Its production is resource-efficient, as one cubic metre of raw material yields up to one hundred cubic metres of insulation. Thanks to its durability and high energy-saving properties, rock wool makes an important contribution to climate protection.
